This presentation will explore the topic of what is known as a split-funded defined benefit plan. In addition, it will also cover broader topics such as an overview of qualified plans, the use of life insurance in defined benefit plans, as well as a brief comparison between 412(e)(3) plans and traditional defined benefit plans.
